The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has appointed SGS Société Générale de Surveillance S.A. for the implementation of the Pre-Shipment Inspection services (PSI) commencing July 1, 2011.
Under SRO 255-Law 2002/1973/Customs 19/09/2002, the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has appointed SGS to conduct Pre-Shipment Inspection of all imports subject to this programme from Block A (India) and Block B (China, Thailand, Korea (North and South), Philippines and Cambodia).
